Bocconi Tennis Tournament: a Weekend to Get in the Game
On 12 and 13 November the clay courts at the Tennis Club Rozzano at via Buozzi 3 in Rozzano (Milan) will host the eighth edition of the Bocconi Tennis Tournament, which is open to all students (of Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi School of Management, as well as to exchange students) who are members of the Bocconi Sport Team. "For the players it is an occasion to be together and get in the game, as the tournament is also open to those who failed to enter in the Bocconi tennis team; for spectators it is an opportunity to enjoy a few hours of good live tennis", says Ester Guerzoni (last on the right in the photo), a student of Economia e legislazione per l'impresa, who came second in the women's category of the 2015 edition and who's part of the university tennis team as well as the football one.
"The event, with both men's and women's matches, will feature a rodeo tournament formula, with two sets out of three to four games", says Ester, "this formula requires an immediate and absolute focus by the player, because if you have a bad start the game is then hard to recover. At the same time it allows the public to watch several matches in few hours and it allows the tournament to end in a single weekend". The 2 best female and the two best male players will be awarded.
Registration to the tournament is open until November 10 at 1pm.
