Bocconi s Tribute to the Great Composers of Jazz

The concert "Portraits in Three Colors" by Inside Jazz Quartet will close the musical year 2015 Bocconi University, sponsored by the Student Affairs Division ISU Bocconi in collaboration with Furcht Pianos.

Thursday, 17 December at 9pm in the Aula Magna at via Gobbi 5, with free admission as long as places last, the stage will host Tommaso Bradascio on drums, Massimo Colombo on piano, Giustino Tracanna on sax and Attilio Zanchi on bass. These internationally renowned musicians will play in a new quartet created to abolish the traditional concept of a leader and sideman to facilitate the contribution of the individual members, who interact in a natural and fluid interplay, with exchanges of harmonic and rhythmic phrases that recall and follow each other. Portraits is a project based on the search for less-known pieces by important songwriters in the history of jazz.

The musical season at Bocconi will resume Thursday 14 January, 2016 with Dario Bonuccelli and Vlad Maistorovici and Killer Kreutzer "Rock yesterday and today." As usual at 9pm in the Aula Magna at via Gobbi 5.
