A new tool integrated into SearchLib that enhances Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services
Starting today, accessing materials not available in the Bocconi Library collections is easier and faster thanks to Rapido, the new tool integrated into SearchLib that enhances Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services.
How does it work?
- Start by searching in SearchLib.
- If you can’t find the document you need, click the banner at the top of the results to “expand your search beyond the library’s collections.” You will then access a centralized index that includes Open Access content and the holdings of libraries participating in the network.
- To request a document, click on “Get it for me from other libraries”. If you're requesting a book chapter, make sure to provide as many details as possible.
- If you requested a digital document, you will receive a secure download link directly to your Bocconi e-mail address. Delivery times range from just a few hours to 1–2 business days, made possible by a system that automatically routes your request to the most suitable library based on location and availability.
If you requested a physical item, you’ll receive an e-mail notification when it becomes available for pickup at the Information Desk. Please note: delivery times depend on shipping, and loan periods are set by the lending library. - You can track the status of your requests in your personal area, under My Library Account - Requests.
If you still can’t find what you need, you can access the traditional request form by clicking the banner again.
