First-year students
Curricular courses
According to the course they are enrolled in, new students must take one of the following exams:
- Students enrolled in BESS, BIEM, BIEF, BIG, CLEACC, CLEAM and CLEF: Computer science
- Students enrolled in CLMG: Informatica per giurisprudenza
- Student enrolled in BGL: Legal Tech
Prerequisite for curricular exams (only for student enrolled up to 2025-2026 a.y. included)
Students enrolled up to and including the 2025–2026 academic year are required to obtain the full ECDL/ICDL certification (ICDL Full Standard or ECDL Core), or one of the equivalent certifications recognized by the University, as a prerequisite for registering for the Computer Science, Legal Tech, or IT for Law examinations (second midterm exam or final examination). At the page Prerequisite for curricular exams you can find all the ICT certifications accepted and the deadlines for the registration of the prerequisite.
This requirement no longer applies. Therefore, students may register for the above-mentioned examinations even if they have not previously obtained the certification, in the following cases:
- All students enrolled from the 2026–2027 academic year onwards;
- Students enrolled in the CLMG and BGL degree programs in the 2025–2026 academic year.
Extracurricular courses
ITEC offers to Bocconi students several courses for free, focusing on the most widely used ICT applications (such as: Python start, Project management, Big Data, Excel advanced, Introduction to Stata, etc.).
