Joint Degree programs with Politecnico di Milano
The MSc in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance and the MSc in Transformative Sustainability draw on the technical and managerial excellence of two leading universities, Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano, providing students with a unique set of interdisciplinary skills.
These Joint Degree programs allow students to spend the first semester of their first year at Politecnico di Milano and the second semester at Bocconi. In the second year, courses will be offered by both universities.
Applications are reviewed by a joint admissions board composed of representatives from both Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano.
Admission decisions are based on a combination of quantitative criteria (such as test scores and GPA) and qualitative criteria (such as the application dossier and motivation), which may vary depending on the applicant category.
Italian, international, Bocconi, and Politecnico di Milano students are all eligible to apply, as outlined below.
The programs can be selected within the standard MSc application (AY 2026/27), according to the chosen selection round.
International applicants may apply only with a valid GMAT, GRE, or Bocconi test score.
Elements of evaluation

- GMAT/GRE/Bocconi online test (compulsory)

Applicants with an undergraduate degree from Bocconi are exempted from taking any kind of test and paying the selection administrative fee.

Students enrolled at Politecnico di Milano who are interested in applying for this program should follow the application procedures, deadlines, and requirements set for Italian applicants.
- If the PoliMi applicant has chosen only "Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance", no admission test will be required
- If the PoliMi applicant has chosen only "Transformative Sustainability", no admission test will be required
- If the PoliMi applicant has chosen only "Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance" and "Transformative Sustainability", no admission test will be required
- If the PoliMi applicant has chosen other programs in addition to "Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance" and/or "Transformative Sustainability", an admission test will be required. However, the test score will be considered only for admission to any programs other than Cyber/TS

To confirm your admission, please:
- Access the Apply2B portal and complete the enrollment procedure.
- Pay the first installment (advance payment).
- Verify the English language requirement on both the Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano websites: the requirement must be one of those accepted by Bocconi for MSc programs taught in English, or one of those accepted by Politecnico di Milano.
Please note: Bocconi students admitted to this program are exempt from providing evidence of the English language requirement.
Your Bachelor’s degree must be awarded by the end of October 2026.
