Dedicated reservations

Congratulations for your admission to one of our AY 2023-24 Bachelor programs! You have
been one of our best international applicants and we are pleased to welcome you
at Bocconi soon. Considering your geographical origin and to support your relocation, we
have already destined to you a room in one of our student residence
halls.  In fact, the rooms available in our 7 residence halls are limited, but we are willing to reward our best students by granting them accommodation with a priority over all other students.

Students selected for this opportunity have received a specific email. If you have not received it, plese do not worry as there are numerous other opportunities to apply for a room in the Bocconi residence halls: please see here.

If you received the email, you are invited to join the private room
reservation application, named "Dedicated reservations" where you will choose your favorite option among the ones available and confirm
your room reservation for AY 2023-24. Please read carefully all the instructions below and get ready to meet us on campus!

1. Requirements

For this application, all students must be regularly enrolled for a.y. 2023-24 for the first absolute time in the first year of a Bachelor program and not included in any of the grounds for exclusion (link).

2. Apply

Check this page for details on our 7 residence halls, room types and prices: you'll get to know our offer and will be able to choose your desired residence and room type very quickly once accessing the application, as there are limited options available for each type. Before you apply, please also read all the useful documents available on the dedicated webpage (link).

The accommodation choice will work on a first-come first-served basis, but exceptionally in this case there will be at least one option for each applicant — so that all students are granted accommodation. Make sure you have your Bocconi credentials (username/student ID number and password) with you, use a fast internet connection and one device only.

Attention

• If you did not manage to
  click on "Save" at the end of the section, it means that there are no
  more rooms available. Please proceed with the selection of a new room type
  and/or Residence.
  
• If you managed to select
  a Residence and/or room type and to save the section, but when clicking on
  “Submit data” another user has occupied the last available place for the
  Residence or room type you have selected, the red button “Submit data” will
  still be visible. This means that, even if you have already selected and saved
  a preference in the “Accommodation choice” section, your room
  reservation is not confirmed, due to the lack of available places.
  
  
  For this reason you did not manage to confirm data, and you will need to:
•  re-access the “Accommodation choice” section;
•  proceed to select a new option;
• save again your choice
  by clicking on “SAVE”;
• try again to confirm
  data for the new choice you made, by clicking on the red button “Submit data”.
  

• If when trying to select
  a new option all the available places are already finished, the system will
  still show you the first choice you made in the “Accommodation choice” section:
  this does NOT mean that your room reservation is confirmed.
  

3. Acceptance

The Office will receive your complete application, verify the coherence of your residence/room choice with the effective room availability and all the other aspects of your position (i.e. if you meet the requirements needed for the application). The process usually takes approximately 1 working week. After that, the Result of your housing application will be published on My Application: you will find in it confirmation of your assigned room, of the period and price applied and all the instructions to complete the acceptance (final step).

You will need to print, sign and upload the Acceptance document that you will see in the application, in order to confirm your room assignment for a.y. 2023-24 and to acknowledge again the conditions applied. Failure to complete the Acceptance within the established deadline will result in the cancellation of your room reservation.

4. Next steps

Documents to attest your stay in one of the Bocconi residence halls
During the whole academic year, the Result of your housing application will be visible on MyApplication: you can print it or download it in .pdf in case you'll need to attest your stay in one of our residence halls; in fact, the result contains all the information usually needed for the purpose (name and address of the assigned residence hall, period of assignment, price of the accommodation).

Room change
For the
entire period in which the student is a resident at a Bocconi residence hall,
room changes are not allowed. Bocconi University, however, is entitled to
transfer the resident, even during the year, to another housing facility at the
rate due for the residence hall of destination.

Renewal of housing assignment
The
housing assignment for the 2023-2024 a.y. is granted for the academic year in
which the application is submitted, therefore it will not be automatically
granted for the following academic years but it is the student's responsibility
to verify the possibility to submit a housing renewal application and to apply
according to the procedure and deadline that will be provided for in the
Housing Application Requirements and Regulations for each academic year of
interest.
