Programs at the Leading Edge

BSc Teaching Structure
While each BSc has its own unique features and profile, all our undergraduate programs are designed to provide a strong academic foundation, foster the development of socioemotional skills and offer a range of opportunities to enrich students’ profiles through activities that allow them to personalize their educational path. The first year is devoted to acquiring foundational knowledge. From the second year onwards, specialization courses progressively focus the distinctive content of each degree program. In the third year, elective courses, internships, exchange programs with partner universities and the final project allow students to complete and further strengthen their course of study.
Common Core
All BSc programs in the area of management, finance and economics (BSc in Management, BSc in Management for the Arts and Cultures, BSc in Finance, BSc in Economics and BSc in Management and Computer Science) share a first-year common core. These courses are designed to provide foundational knowledge with an approach that takes into account the impact of cognitive biases and enables students to understand and use the tools offered by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Our Programs
Management
- The program provides students with the tools to understand what resources an organization needs to effectively carry out a project and how those resources should be planned, organized and managed.
- It examines how companies operate in relation to the various business functions (logistics, marketing, finance, etc.), different types of organizations (commercial, manufacturing, public administration, etc.) and the national and international economic contexts in which they operate.
- It equips students with analytical methods and tools required to work in continuously evolving environments and to develop an integrated view of the firm and different types of organizations.
- The program is offered both in Italian and English.
Management for the Arts and Cultures
- The program focuses on the management of organizations operating in the arts, culture and creative industries, and enables students to acquire the managerial and entrepreneurial skills needed to work in international environments that require adaptability and interaction with different cultures and languages.
- It offers a solid education in business and management integrated with courses in the humanities.
- Particular emphasis is placed on project-based learning through group work and workshops.
- The program is offered entirely in English.
Finance
- The program enables students to understand how the financial system works, with a focus on capital markets, financial intermediaries, contracts and financial instruments.
- It provides a solid education grounded in rigorous quantitative tools and promotes an analytical, data-driven approach to the assessment of financial decisions and risks.
- It equips students with the skills needed to operate in domestic and international financial environments that are constantly evolving.

Economics
- The program provides students with the tools to understand the choices of economic agents and how markets function, in order to anticipate the evolution of economic and social phenomena such as growth, employment and inflation, inequality, climate change and globalization, and to assess their impact on national and global markets.
- It enables students to acquire strong quantitative and methodological skills, together with a broad-based education suited to work in diverse and dynamic national and international settings.
- It includes two majors:
- Major in Economic and Data Sciences, which explores the application of algorithmic techniques and machine learning to data analysis and the interpretation of economic phenomena.
- Major in Economic Sciences, which combines mathematical models, data analysis and cognitive sciences to understand economic choices and economic and social phenomena.
- The program is offered entirely in English.
Management and Computer Science
- The program develops mathematical, statistical and computational skills aimed at training managerial profiles able to leverage the strategic role of data analysis.
- It provides students with the tools to acquire, organize, analyze and interpret data in support of economic, managerial and financial decision-making in any sector.
- The program is offered entirely in English.
International Politics and Government
- This political science program enables students to interpret the evolution of social, economic and political systems and to understand the decision-making mechanisms of national and international institutions.
- It places particular emphasis on the key stages of policy making: designing public policies that are efficient and politically sustainable, implementing effective public policies and evaluating them through qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- It offers two tracks: the “Politics and Policy Making” track and the “Data, Society and Organisations” track, a Double Degree with HEC Paris. Students interested in the Double Degree with HEC Paris must submit a specific application.
- The program is offered entirely in English.
Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence
- This mathematics program is intended for students with strong analytical abilities and a passion for the advancement of science.
- It offers rigorous preparation in several areas of mathematics, computational sciences and modelling techniques from physics in order to understand the modern tools of artificial intelligence, solve quantitative problems and advance AI itself.
- It prepares graduates able to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and applications in artificial intelligence and beyond.
- The program is offered entirely in English.
World Bachelor in Business
- This is a four-year program delivered in partnership with two prestigious international universities: USC (University of Southern California – Marshall School of Business) and HKUST (The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology).
- It offers a distinctive international experience: students spend the first year in Los Angeles, the second in Hong Kong, the third in Milan, and the fourth at one of the three partner institutions of their choice, earning three degrees upon completion of the program.
- The curriculum is focused on the management of international business and is complemented by courses in economics, quantitative methods and law.
- The program is offered entirely in English.
- It has a specific admissions procedure, as well as dedicated tuition fees, scholarships and housing arrangements.
Law Programs
Bocconi also offers two flagship programs in the field of Law open to high school students: the Bachelor in Global Law, – taught in English – and the Integrated Master of Science in Law – which lasts 5 years and is taught in Italian.
