SDA and Bocconi Alumni Face Challenges of Current Economic Crisis
Skills and networking are fundamental instruments in a time of crisis and with that mind SDA Bocconi School of Management has decided to bring forward by a couple of months its third edition of the CLAC, the Continuous Learning Alumni Conference, an event which unites an alumni reunion with a time for learning and training, this year concentrated on the search for solutions to face the challenges of the current economic turmoil.
The CLAC is a continuous learning course designed for the alumni of Bocconi and SDA organized in collaboration with AMSDA, the SDA Bocconi Alumni Association, and the Bocconi Alumni Association. During the two days, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March, SDA faculty examined the global crisis from a range of different perspectives providing insights to deal with the crisis, flanked by a series of important figures from the financial and business world.
"Business schools are caught up in the wave of turmoil and have to take the responsibility of contributing to the analysis of the causes and offering suggestions to come out of the crisis," explains Alberto Grando, SDA Bocconi Dean. "SDA wants to offer this opportunity to all SDA and Bocconi alumni, taking advantage of the faculty's expertise, so as to enrich the debate and strengthen the network of people and ideas so as to favor a collaborative approach to the crisis."
