Recruiters Place Bocconi in European Top Ten

In the QS survey the school is ranked 4th worldwide for its specialization in international management and marketing and 9th for finance; SDA Bocconi's positive rating in several specific fields contributed to a high overall ranking in Europe

It is the perception of the excellence in international management, marketing and finance which pushes up the opinion of SDA Bocconi school of management among recruiters worldwide. In the study QS Global 200 Business Schools 2009: The Employer's choice SDA Bocconi, in fact, thanks to its excellent positioning in the various specialization rankings, is placed in the group of 10 leading business schools in Europe.

604 companies in 42 countries voted for the schools they prefer to recruit MBA graduates from in this 18th edition of the survey by QS, the company which runs the World MBA Tour. The study doesn't aim to create a general ranking of schools but presents the best schools grouped into clusters divided geographically. SDA figures among the top 33 schools worldwide, from the 200 included in the survey, cited by more than 20% of companies, and among the top 10 business schools in Europe.

The survey presents instead rankings by subjects of the specializations typical of MBA programs. At global level, SDA Bocconi is ranked 4th for international management and for marketing; 9th for finance; 25th for strategy, for leadership and for operations management; 32nd for e-business.

40% of employer respondents were based in North America, 30% in Western Europe, 17% in Asia-Pacific, 5% in Latin America, 8% in Eastern Europe and 1% in Africa and the Middle East.
