Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance and Transformative Sustainability

The MSc in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance and the MSc in Transformative Sustainability combine the technical and managerial excellence of two leading universities, Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano, providing students with a unique interdisciplinary educational experience.

Students enrolled in these Joint Degree programs spend the first semester of their first year at Politecnico di Milano and the second semester at Bocconi University. During the second year, courses are offered by both institutions.

Applications are evaluated by a joint Admissions Board composed of representatives from Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano.

As these programs follow a dedicated admission process and timeline, the information provided on this page applies exclusively to applicants who have obtained, or are expected to obtain, a Bachelor degree from Bocconi University, Politecnico di Milano, or another Italian university. International applicants should refer to the standard MSc admission process applicable to their profile.
 

The dedicated admission process is available to candidates who have obtained, or are expected to obtain, a Bachelor degree from Bocconi University, Politecnico di Milano, or another Italian university.

Applicants from Italian universities are required to verify the Admission Conditions for the Joint Degree programs before applying, including the eligible Bachelor degree classes and any applicable curricular requirements.

Applicants may submit one application and select a maximum of two program choices:

  • Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance;
  • Transformative Sustainability.

International applicants should apply through the standard MSc admission rounds, where the Joint Degree programs in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance and Transformative Sustainability are available among the program choices.

Applications are evaluated through a holistic assessment conducted by a Joint Admissions Board composed of representatives from Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano.

Candidates holding, or expected to obtain, a Bachelor's degree from Bocconi University or Politecnico di Milano are not required to take an admission test. Candidates holding, or expected to obtain, a Bachelor's degree from another Italian university must submit a valid Bocconi online test, GMAT or GRE score.

Applications are evaluated according to the standard admission criteria applicable to each applicant category. For candidates from Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano, the assessment is based on academic performance (GPA), dossier and motivation. For candidates from other Italian universities, the assessment takes into account the admission test, academic performance (GPA), dossier and motivation.

International applicants should apply through the standard MSc admission rounds. Applications to the Joint Degree programs in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance and Transformative Sustainability are evaluated according to the standard admission process and assessment criteria applicable to international candidates.

Admitted candidates will have approximately two weeks to confirm their admission offer and pay the first installment (advance payment).

In case of multiple offers of admission, candidates may choose which program to enroll in. If enrollment has already been completed, the advance payment (first installment) may be transferred to the newly selected program.

Admitted candidates are required to:

  • demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level by the end of June 2027;
  • obtain a qualifying Bachelor degree by the end of October 2027.
