IM Global Experience and Finance Global Experience
Bocconi University offers two Graduate programs with a strong international orientation: IM Global Experience and Finance Global Experience.
For the 2026–27 academic year, both programs will follow a dedicated admissions process with two specific selection rounds, regardless of the applicant category (Bocconi applicants, international applicants, or Italian applicants). These rounds are entirely separate from the standard Graduate admissions timeline.
The goal of the IM Global Experience and Finance Global Experience programs is to form classes that are as diverse as possible in terms of nationality, gender, and academic or professional background. These diversity factors may influence admission decisions. Consequently, candidates' profiles will be individually reviewed by the Program Directors during the selection process.
Both programs contribute to Bocconi University's positioning in international rankings, offering students a learning environment with strong global exposure and high academic standards.
Applications must be submitted through the Apply2B portal.
Applicants must complete the dedicated application for each of the two programs (it is possible to apply to both), within the two specific selection rounds available.
Evaluation criteria vary depending on the applicant category. Each category will be assessed based on the standard selection elements used for Graduate programs, with the addition of a recorded video interview.
In all cases, the Dossier and the Motivation section are mandatory and will be considered as part of the overall evaluation.
Given the international nature of these programs, evaluations are carried out by the Program Directors. The selection process is conducted independently from the general admissions rounds established for each applicant category.

The admission is primarily based on the following elements:
- Performance in one of the following tests: Bocconi online test, GMAT, or GRE
- Academic performance (GPA)
- Dossier and Motivation
- Recorded video interview
Bocconi applicants are exempt from submitting a test score.
The video interview will be available directly on the Apply2B portal and will be integrated into the application. Each candidate will have two minutes to answer three questions. The questions will be published in advance, prior to the opening of the application round.
Admitted students will have approximately two weeks to confirm the offer and proceed with the payment of the first installment – advance payment.
In case of multiple admissions, students will have the opportunity to choose the program in which to enroll.
If the enrollment has already been finalized, it will be possible to transfer the advance payment (first installment) to the newly selected program.
