- Academic Performance: based on credit-weighted average.
- Statement
Each applicant will be assigned an Overall Score, which combines their Academic Performance Score and their Statement Score.
The Academic Performance Score is calculated taking into consideration the following elements:

Student academic weighted credit average (WA) multiplied to
-
Number of credits earned (NC) divided by the maximum number of credits that can be earned (MAX NC)
The calculation of credits thus includes all the exams of the 1st year - 1st semester - study plan officially taken by February 2nd, 2027 (included), end of the ordinary exam session. Courses subdivided in modules will be considered as separated courses for the academic requirements and exchange score calculation;
Exams which are not part of the 1st year - 1st semester study plan (internship, languages, anticipated exams and anticipated curricular supplementary activities) are not included.
The Individual Assessment Score ranges from 0 to 2 points and is added to the Academic Performance Score.
The score is assigned by the Degree Program Director's Office based on a Statement of Intent, in which applicants explain their motivation for their first-choice destination, their preparation for the exchange experience, and how it relates to their academic and professional goals.
Detailed instructions, including the evaluation criteria, template and submission procedure, will be provided to all eligible students by email before the application period.
The Overall Score will be the following:
The Study Abroad office will elaborate the ranking, according to the above-mentioned criteria. Each student will be assigned to the first destination for which there are still places available among the ones s/he listed in her/his application in order of preference.
Please note that if applicants have equal final scores for a specific destination and there is one last slot available, the students' preferences linked to the destination will be used as criteria in order to set the ranking. In case of equal preferences, priority will be given to the student who applied earlier at Punto Blu (considering hh:mm:ss).
