Andrea Riccio (2001) is one of the most original voices of the new generation of Italian pianists, praised by critics for his virtuosity, tonal refinement, and interpretive vision. He has appeared with leading institutions in Italy and abroad (Ravello Festival, Teatro San Carlo, Stiftung Mozarteum, Spoleto Festival, Accademia Filarmonica Romana), and is committed to creating new performance formats and fostering dialogue among artistic languages, from Gestalt recitals to performances lasting twelve hours or several days. His repertoire ranges from early music to contemporary works, with a strong commitment to promoting today’s music and breaking down prejudices and clichés surrounding it. His recent concept album Artic Akt (Konsequenz, 2024) has been hailed by the press as a revelation.
