The session* (offered in English and Italian) will give you the opportunity to experience Paralympic sports (such as wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, hand bike, etc.) at the Bocconi Sport Center. The aim of the initiative, organized in partnership with the Tavecchio Foundation, is to understand how to overcome our own limits through sport, competition and fun to get a close look at how diversity can be a real opportunity to improve ourselves.
The session will be introduced with a welcome address by Riccardo Taranto, Bocconi University CEO and a short speech by Professor Balbo (in English) on Four Common Misconceptions About Disability (see the abstract in Insightful Seminars, held on 11 November 2025).
Participants should wear a comfortable outfit!
*Given the limited number of slots available for the Inclusive Sports Session, some participants may be asked to observe the games.
The registration form will be available soon.
For information
Bocconi has always been careful to ensure an inclusive working environment and to be attentive to gender diversity and to the plurality of voices represented in its initiatives. When this is not reflected in one of our publications or events, it is due to the unavailability of the consulted experts to participate or to challenges in identifying specific profiles in our network.
