Your loans now in the yoU@B student diary

, by Library & Archives
A new Library channel to help you keep track of due dates in a simple and integrated way

From now on, loan due dates are integrated into the yoU@B student diary, making them easier to manage.

Specifically:

  • in the “Deadlines” section of the Calendar, you will find automatic updates of the due dates for your current loans;
  • you will receive a notification on the actual due date.

Please note that, thanks to the automatic renewal system, due dates may change over time. Books are automatically renewed for up to a maximum of 6 months in total, except in the following cases:

  • the item is an exam textbook (only one automatic one-week renewal is allowed);
  • the item has been requested by another user;
  • the maximum loan period has been reached.

If you receive a due date notification, this means that no further renewals are possible.

You may return books at any time using the Book return boxes (also through a delegated person), by mailing them or by contacting the Library team at the Information Desk. If there are no reservations or blocks due to overdue items, you may borrow the book again and start a new loan period.

You can always check the updated status of your loans by accessing My Library Account. For more information, please visit the dedicated webpage Borrow, Renew and Return Books.

This new channel has been created to make communication about due dates more immediate and effective, supporting responsible loan management. Respecting due dates helps ensure fair access to the Library’s collections for the entire Bocconi community.
