Geopolitics Corner: Understanding the world around you
THE GREAT DISORDER
Since the beginning of this year President Trump has orchestrated a military assault in Venezuela, threatened to intervene in Colombia, Mexico, Cuba and again in Iran. He promised to annex Greenland, to downgrade Nato and EU. He dispatched thousands of federal agents to Minnesota and several other states and big cities, all ruled by
Democrats; he launched, as a retribution, law suits agains the head of the Federal Reserve and other high ranking officials; he ignored the Congress, the Supreme Court and the Constitution.
Year 2026 was just at the end of its second month, when United Sates together with Israel (possibly the latter together with the former) started a war on Iran. The American democracy is in danger. And, accordingly, the world order.
