Bocconi4Bookcity 2025

In this 2025 edition, Bocconi4BookCity presents a three-part reading and discussion journey, interwoven with this year’s topic — The Power of Ideas / The Ideas of Power — to explore how critical thinking and storytelling can help us navigate the present and its transformations. From emergencies that test our ability to react, to local areas and tourism reshaping community life, the books featured in the first two events offer insights into understanding the collective challenges of our time. Because the power of ideas also lies in the possibility to generate shared visions and new models of coexistence. The third event, more intimate yet no less political, draws inspiration from a novel to reflect on the forms of power that run through relationships, desires, and life choices. A narrative that invites us to question what we take for granted about freedom, the gaze of others, and the potential for change.
