Accommodation availability and Summer School opportunity

Standard accommodation assignments end for everyone on 27 of June, 2027.
It will not be possible to request an extension in your current assignment for the month of July, but any student who has already been assigned accommodation in one of the Bocconi residences in June 2027 may still request a room in the residence indicated on this page, subject to availability. Please read the paragraphs below carefully with regard to check-out in June and the options available for July.
Regardless of the end date of your housing assignment, we remind you that at the end of your housing assignment period, you must completely clear your room and apartment of all your belongings, even if you will return to the same room the following year. In fact, as specified in the Bocconi Residences Regulations:
At the time of check-out for the end of the assignment period or during the year, the student is required to completely empty their room and other areas of their accommodation (bathroom, kitchen, living room, where present), including completely emptying refrigerators and freezers. Bocconi University is not responsible for goods left in the apartment/room after check-out.
Attention: rooms are reassigned to Summer School students during the summer, so it is not possible to leave anything inside your room or apartment. Any issues related to missing or deteriorated items during the summer, a period when the room is not assigned, cannot be considered by Bocconi University or the residence management.
In case of need of storage, we suggest you to evaluate very common luggage storage services in Milan, such as BoxOK, Red Box Storage, Radical storage, Casaforte Milano
Students already staying in the residence halls during the a.y. 2026-27 (during the month of June of 2027) who need to stay in Milan in July as well, the University has reserved an entire building which will be able to accommodate all students in need of staying in Milan in July. In August, however, all Bocconi residence halls will be closed.
It will be possible to check the availability and book a room for the month of July through a dedicated application, available around February until all available places are filled. All those who book will be required to pay the July monthly rate based on the same rate applied (full or preferential) depending on their annual assignment a.y. 2026-27.
Rooms will be assigned following the application order and until all available places are filled. In the event that the number of requests exceeds the availabilities, the office will try to find an alternative solution.

As part of the Bocconi Summer School, starting in the summer of 2027, the University is offering students who are already staying in the residences to actively participate in the project by applying to serve as “Summer School Residence Ambassador.” Selected students will be able to stay in their original residence until the end of July 2027 free of charge and will receive a cash compensation to cover small expenses.
