My area of research is Industrial Organization and I mostly work on topics in competition economics, antitrust, market design, public procurement and the regulation of digital platforms.
I am CEPR Research Affiliate, an associate editor of The Review of Economic Studies and Econometrica.
Over the last fifteen years, I have held various advisory roles for different public bodies including the European Commission, the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Italian Antitrust Authority and the Milan Court of Justice.
