Bio

I am an Associate Professor of Management Accounting and Director of the BSc in Business Administration and Management at Bocconi University. I hold a Bachelor and a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University. I was a visiting professor at the Saïd Business School, IESE Business School, Esade Business School, University of Technology Sydney and Paris Dauphine University.

I am a member of the CIMA’s Research Board and of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of Bocconi University. I have publications issued in Accounting, Organizations & Society, European Accounting Review, Management Accounting Research, Journal of Management Accounting Research and Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, among others.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on digital transformation of the Finance Function, business planning and control of private equity agreements, management control of creative and innovative organizations, inter-organizational control of private and public partnerships, and modes of control in knowledge-intensive firms.
