Language requirements for MSc programs
All international applicants are required to meet specific language requirements; however, these are not mandatory for applying or for the selection process. They become compulsory only in the event of admission, in order to complete the enrollment.
When completing the online application, candidates will be asked to indicate whether they have already fulfilled the language requirement or if they plan to obtain the required certification by the set deadline.
To confirm their offer, admitted applicants must provide proof of meeting the language requirement by the enrollment deadline, and in any case, no later than June 30, 2026. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of enrollment.
To apply for MSc programs taught in English, it is not necessary to prove any knowledge of the Italian language, but it is necessary to demonstrate an English language knowledge at least equal to the B2 level of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
In particular, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- university qualification (or secondary school diploma) awarded in English or
- one of the recognized international English language certificates listed below or
- English exam at B2 level (or higher) passed in a university course.
