Bio
Mariano Massimiliano Croce is Professor of Finance at Bocconi University, a CEPR Research Fellow, an NBER Research Associate, and a member of the American Economic Review Editorial Board. His research lies at the intersection of asset pricing, macro-finance, and international finance, with a particular focus on how long-run macroeconomic risks shape financial markets, investment decisions, and the global economy.
His work has been published in leading economics and finance journals, including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Monetary Economics. Since 2021, he has served as an Editor of Economics Letters.
Professor Croce teaches undergraduate, MBA, executive, and PhD courses in finance and macroeconomics. He received his PhD in Economics from New York University after earning his bachelor's and master's degrees from Bocconi University, and previously held research positions at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the European Central Bank.
