Thanks to the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, students enrolled in the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence who demonstrate exceptional proficiency in mathematics and scientific disciplines, combined with a strong motivation to effectively address the complex challenges of contemporary society in technology, medicine, and social fields, will have access to significant financial assistance. In some cases, this support may fully cover the cost of the program.
1. Eligible students
The Artificial Intelligence Scholarship is available to up to 50% of students enrolled in the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. Eligible applicants include:
- students who distinguish themselves through outstanding academic merit, regardless of financial circumstances;
- students who, in addition to merit, have declared financial need by completing the online “Bocconi4Access to Education 2026–2027” application.
Priority in awarding the benefit will be given to deserving students who have also expressed financial need through the “Bocconi4Access to Education a.y. 2026–2027” application (demonstrating financial need is not a mandatory criterion for receiving the scholarship; the University reserves the right to award the Artificial Intelligence Scholarship solely based on academic merit when deemed appropriate).
At the discretion of the Scholarship Committee, the scholarship may therefore be granted exclusively based on academic achievement.
Students are nevetheless highly encouraged to submit the “Bocconi4Access to Education 2026–2027” application, as this allows the University to evaluate candidate profiles more thoroughly.

The provisions outlined on this page constitute official publication of the regulations for the benefits provided under the “Bocconi4Access to Education” support scheme, dedicated to students enrolled in the first year of Bachelor of Science and Law Programs in the a.y. 2026-27.
The assignment of the Artificial Intelligence Scholarship will be communicated at the same time as the communication of the other types of benefit and will differ according to the admission session in which the candidates will have participated.
Following the communication of the result with which the assignment of a given benefit is communicated, the beneficiary will be required to follow the instructions that will be provided to her in order to accept the benefit in due time.
The student enrolled in the first year of the academic year 2026-2027 will then find her updated financial situation at Punto Blu, in the you@B diary, after the start of courses and approximately by the end of September 2026. It is specified that in all cases in which the student, during the academic year, incurs the revocation and/or forfeiture of the benefit, the financial situation at Punto Blu will be updated with the cancellation of the benefit and the assignment of the ordinary university contribution.
Student beneficiaries may be contacted by the Fundraising Department of Università Bocconi or by the donor for participation in academic or non-academic activities.
All benefits assigned by Bocconi University can be confirmed from year to year during the legal duration of study cycle upon the student's compliance with specific merit requirements detailed here.
Assignee students will still be required to pay the first installment down payment for each academic year. This amount, once the requirements to maintain the benefit have been met, will be reimbursed each year by the end of December of the academic year in question.
It is specified that additional grants will also be available to support the academic experience in Turin.
Students may lose their benefit, or the benefit itself may be revoked, if one of the following conditions listed on the dedicated pages occurs.
