CEMS MIM

It is a global program (33 partner universities and around 70 corporate partners and 7 social partners) of which Bocconi is one of the four founding members and the only Italian partner university. It was jointly designed by universities and the corporate partners that shape the CEMS network. It is exclusively open to students studying at the prestigious member universities and it provides a select group of high profile, internationally minded and multilingual top students with the know-how and expertise needed to succeed in the new international business environment taking on senior international management roles

Designed by both academic and business leaders, the CEMS MIM program connects university education and business expertise and is therefore able to offer keen insights into management best practice.

In Bocconi the CEMS MIM program takes place during the second year of the MSc in International Management. After the first year of the MSc in International Management spent at Bocconi, students spend one semester at Bocconi (either first or second semester) and the other semester abroad.

In the first year, students are provided with the fundamental concepts of International Management through core courses and seminars that all feature  highly interactive methodology and are largely based on individual work in  addition to teamwork.

The Master lasts approximately one academic year (from September to October of the following year). The study plan requires students to successfully attend courses abroad and in Italy throughout the year. They must also participate in – and complete – all additional CEMS and Bocconi activities. CEMS Bocconi Educational Offer is available at the dedicate webpage.

At the conclusion of studies, participants will be awarded both the Master in International Management Diploma issued by CEMS and the Italian  MSc degree in International Management issued by Bocconi.

Students benefit from a lifelong connection with the  CEMS community, CEMS MIM student organisation, the CEMS MIM Alumni organisation, as well as the CEMS Corporate Partners. Corporate Partners active involvement into the Program allow access to job opportunities and supportive network around the world.

Over 16000 CEMS alumni of 100+ nationalities, working in 75+ countries currently occupy positions at various management levels in a broad range of industry sectors across the world.
