Francesco Billari, Professor of Demography at the Department of Decision Sciences and Director of the Carlo F. Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics, has been elected as a Fellow of the European Academy of Sociology.
The European Academy of Sociology is a fellowship of respected scholars with expertise in many different areas of sociology, united around the common concern to promote rigorous standards in sociology.
Francesco's research focuses on family and fertility, the transition to adulthood, life course analysis, models for population dynamics and the relationships between demography and the economy.
