The University continues to pursue its policy of ongoing qualitative growth,emphasizing high-level research and following a strategy of rapid internationalization.
In addition to the Permanent Faculty, comprised of tenured professors, Bocconi has steadily brought in faculty resources from top research institutions around the world, and enjoys thequalified contributionsof Adjunct and Visiting Professors, Post Doc e Teaching Fellows.


During the last two years in particular, thanks to the success of the international recruitment campaign promoted by Rector Guido Tabellini, the Bocconi faculty has added no less than 27 new scholars. International recruitment doesn't mean simply hiring foreign scholars, but academics of any nationality with significant international experience under their belts.
The campaign, a cornerstone of Tabellini's rectorate, has produced a balanced mix of foreign and Italian faculty - both senior professors and newly-minted PhDs - who provide a boost to all eight University departments:
