Structure
Quantitative techniques in business and public administration Today it is increasingly the case that what gives a company the necessary competitive advantage over its rivals or enables institutions of public administration to offer a qualitatively higher standard of service is the efficient management of information.
This entails an ever broader and more integrated vision of the role of IT (IT=
Information Technology) in business and public administration, one capable of using hardware and software resources to the utmost. This in turn puts a premium on the development of new approaches (integrated with management procedures) in the area of
quantitative data processing and modelling as applied to business and social phenomena, the better to be able to relate to changing needs and realities and to create a solid basis for strategic decision-making.
ELEUSI is the Università Bocconi's research centre specifically set up to develop the application of IT in these fields and to offer to the public, corporations, businesses and research institutions our special expertise.
